Child Enrichment Clinical Case Manager (CECCM) Job at Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County
Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County (UGM-TC) has an immediate opening for a Child Enrichment Clinical Case Manager (CECCM) position. The CECCM demonstrates deep understanding of the impact of trauma on children and adults. Complete trauma informed assessment activities, including but not limited to the Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) questionnaire. Use assessment findings to inform service planning. Develop measurable goals and interventions focused on social and emotional well-being and academic growth and development. Implement and coach children, youth and parents in the application of evidence based, trauma informed behavioral interventions such as Trust-Based Relational Invention (TBRI).
Provide after school tutoring to children and youth (5- 18 years and still in high school) with emphasis on developing reading skills. Maintain attendance and behavior records. Perform Development Reading Assessments and informal testing/assessments to determine reading skill level. Maintain student testing data and disseminate as needed to appropriate individuals and agencies. Implement individualized lesson/program plans. Monitor progress of individualized lesson plans to ensure goals are being met. Develop behavioral plans as deemed appropriate throughout the course of service provision. Support cross-collaboration with external programs and services to ensure children and youth are appropriately referred and linked to need driven early intervention services.
Master’s degree in social work or related field. Two (2) years of direct experience. Clinical licensure preferred. Required direct experience includes a proven ability to perform under pressure; demonstrated ability to conduct need assessments and evaluate for appropriateness of services; application of sound clinical insight.
Qualified candidates will have:
- Knowledge and experience in trauma-informed care; experience applying a trauma-informed approach (i.e. TBRI). Build safe, trusting relationships with clients/guests and exercise appropriate boundaries. Knowledgeable of issues/traumas tenants face such as victimization, poverty, chronic health conditions, substance use/abuse, and intimate partner violence.
- Work independently with minimum supervision and maximum accountability.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficient computer skills (Windows operating system and Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook) as well as an ability to learn and use any other software programs needed in the operations of UGM-TC.
