Reporting to the Global CRO, the Chief Marketing Officer is a highly strategic role within Third Bridge. This is a significant opportunity to be at the forefront of disrupting within the investment research space. This is a global position and will be responsible for working closely with the rest of the leadership team to define the company brand and ensure flawless execution of the overall integrated marketing strategy. This is a great opportunity for a strategic marketing leader who can bring their expertise to drive client acquisition and retention.
The core responsibilities of this role include:
Work alongside our Global CRO to create a One Third Bridge marketing strategy and Branding strategy and execution plan to drive client acquisition and retention globally.
Build a global marketing structure and team which will successfully drive and execute on the overall marketing strategy.
Lead a revenue generating marketing function: build a scalable content marketing engine to drive lead generation as well as nurturing client users through the customer journey (e.g. managing campaigns, communication strategies, data visualisation)
Work closely with all sales channels to codify sales territories and ensure the strategic marketing function is implemented across the entire sales funnel
Work closely with stakeholders in the product lines on optimising our content distribution, including external channel partners to best position us within the market.
Provide regular performance and marketing attribution metrics to senior management across the business
Skills:
Strategic mindset with an ability to build a long-term vision with short-term execution plans
Experience in partnerships and alliance development
Negotiation and closing of business through partners.
High performance driven and hold themselves accountable to quota/metrics
Strong organisational skills
Client-centric attitude, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to consult with executives to develop and implement an effective partnership strategy that maximises the value delivered by Third Bridge’s products and services
Experience or understanding of multiple asset classes, the complexities of large global investment organisations and global market dynamics
Exceptional business acumen and bottom line results orientation. Has proven track record of developing and implementing client centric growth strategies
High performance driven and hold themselves accountable to metrics
Exceptional people leadership skills and demonstrated ability to develop talent
Experience:
Minimum of 10 years professional experience in marketing and five years in a leadership role, ideally in financial services research or asset management
Thorough understanding of different personas in institutional asset classes (private equity, hedge funds, mutual funds and management consulting)
Experience building content marketing teams that deliver scalable marketing automation solutions (e.g. familiarity with Pardot or equivalent marketing automation tools would be desirable)
Experience working closely with global sales teams
Experience working with design, automation and content marketing agencies
Ability to work with and manage resources from different departments globally
Outstanding project management skills (projects involving internal and external stakeholders) with the ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritise workloads
