SUMMARY:
Perform chemical process tests to maintain chemical balance and material mixtures necessary for chemical operations. Mix solutions and materials under company-designated safety procedures. Operate and maintain equipment used for chemical processing.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Detect:
- Receive and test samples and make clear identification.
- Excel in the technical preparation and arrangement of the test, skillfully master the testing technology of this position, be familiar with the testing specifications, and review the new testing standards.
- Responsible for filling in the original records and test analysis results.
- Strictly implement the relevant regulations on the quality control of test and analysis, and analyze the relevant and trend.
- Responsible for the daily inspection and maintenance of the test environment 5S and instruments and equipment, record of the use of the instruments and equipment, and cooperate with the equipment department for the secondary maintenance of the instruments and equipment.
- Perform other related duties as specified in the quality system document.
Document management:
- Collect, sort, classify and file the archives of the instrument.
- Uniformly manage the archives preserved in the testing station, and manage receiving, sorting, filing, inquiry, secrecy and identification of archives as required.
Instrument and equipment management:
- Collect, sort, classify and file the archives of the instrument.
- Acceptance, registration and filing of new equipment.
- Record the maintenance and maintenance of the equipment, or have a temporary loan and check the use record of the equipment on a regular basis.
Chemical reagent management:
- Maintain classified storage and management of all chemical reagents.
- Registration of existing or newly purchased chemicals and registration at the time of withdrawal and scrapping.
- Control the inventory of chemical consumables and purchase them in time when they are in short supply.
- Understand and maintain the shelf life of all chemicals.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Sufficient reading and math skills to read manuals and maintain proper records.
- At least a year's on-the-job training as a chemical technician intern.
