Chemical Dependence Program Operations Coordinator Job at Oswego County Opportunities, Inc.
OCO’s Chemical Dependence Program has the availability of a full time Clinical Program Coordinator. This position will perform a wide variety of administrative duties to ensure smooth operation of the Arbor House Community Residence and the Supportive Living Apartments in accordance with Program and Agency guidelines, OASAS, and Health Department Regulations and Medicaid billing protocols.
DUTIES:
- Provide administrative supervision and support of program staff; ensuring sound and equitable hiring, evaluation, staff development and corrective discipline practices
- Develop, implement, and maintain program policies; maintain required documentation for all components
- Assist Dept. Director and Financial Manager with budget development and expenditures
- Represent the program in the community, assist the Director and Clinical Coordinator with strategic planning process for the program
- Review and monitor resident funding balances, collections, petty cash ledgers and expenditures
- Oversee Medicaid services to residents to ensure compliance with written standards for billing
- Assist in crisis intervention and conflict resolution with residents as needed
- Manage incident reports and investigations for the program
- Participate in rotating 24 hour on-call schedule, ensures adequate staff on call coverage at all times
REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to relate well to those in recovery from substance use disorders, uphold program principles, and implement techniques in line with program philosophies
- Leadership and communication skills to successfully plan and direct the work of others
- Valid NYS Driver's License with driving record within Agency policy
