Hourly Rates: $20.35 – $21.85

St. Josephs a Villa Center is a 169 bed skilled nursing facility located in Hamtramck. Our leadership team is headed by our Nursing Home Administrator and Director of Nursing who are dedicated to creating an ongoing culture of openness and support by fostering a strong culture of staff appreciation. Duties:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with St. Josephs a Villa Center, you have the ability to positively impact the lives and overall health of the residents that you care for. You have a strong impact on the overall patient and family experience, and you create a caring and safe environment while providing care for the residents, monitoring changes, and ensuring the preservation of dignity.

Responsibilities:

• Provides for activities of daily living by assisting with serving meals, feeding patients as necessary and ambulating, turning, and positioning patients; and providing fresh water and nourishment between meals.
• Provides patient comfort by utilizing resources and materials; transporting patients; answering patients’ call lights and requests; and reporting observations of the patient to nursing supervisor.
• Other duties not listed provided by the DON and Nursing Leadership.

Qualifications:

• Highschool Diploma or equivalent
• State of MI CNA certification
