Business Area

At Empire Today, our Central Services team is primarily composed of both the Special Operations and Order Management teams. Special Operations is responsible for managing the timely and accurate processing of all non-traditional customer orders. Order Management optimizes and processes sold orders timely and accurately for residential and commercial flooring customers from all business units. The process may include ordering specialized products directly from vendors and working with markets to ensure products are received in their facility and available for scheduling customer installations.

Responsibilities

The Centralized SR Specialist works to resolve customer issues before and after the point of sale and installation. They answer questions concerning price quotes, negotiate discounts as applicable, and offer incentives in attempt to convince customers to sign a contract. The Centralized SR Specialist also communicates with individual markets on a per case basis to negotiate a lower price to ensure the satisfaction of the customer and their experience with Empire Today.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED.
• 1 year sales experience, Mathematical ability (e.g., calculate orders, percentages)
• Working knowledge of Siebel.
• Proficient in POS, MS Office.
