Job Description:
Unpaid volunteer contributing time to Intermountain Healthcare in various roles.Six-month commitment
Must be 16 years or older
Interacts with patients, guests and Intermountain caregivers by performing assigned duties in a registration area.
Physical Requirements:
1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
2. Sensitive to patient and family situations / dynamics
3. Adequate hearing and vision
4. Physical mobility (walking, bending, standing)
5. Good verbal and written English language skills. Bi-lingual skills helpful (Spanish / English)
6. Ability to recognize boundaries and limitations of duties and not act independently of those functions
7. Able to sit for long periods of time
8. Able to work alone and independent (within scope of assigned duties)
9. Able to work well with diverse populations
10. Maintain and respect professional relationships
11. Practice good hygiene
12. Self-motivated, flexible and adaptable
