Campus Ventilation Project Manager Job at UCLA
The Campus Ventilation Project Manager (CVPM) will serve as the liaison between all campus laboratory stakeholders, including FM maintenance personnel, Environmental Health &Safety (EHS), UC Fire Department (UCFD), the Campus Building Official, and the laboratory researchers to facilitate communication and improve coordination and supervision of laboratory activities. Assists the FM maintenance team by providing support to address items related to the LVMP and AMP implementation, test protocols, data and trend analysis, remediation activities, and on-going improvements to the CVPM. Provides short and long-term training plans for stakeholder groups. Oversees ongoing energy conservation measures to ensure continued savings during the project's performance period. Advises the SBL Program Manager on regulatory changes to the laboratory environment and recommends appropriate solutions. Assesses the effectiveness of the preventive maintenance (PM) program, system operating mode tests (SOMT), laboratory environment tests (LET), and fume hood tests (FHT) to ensure buildings are operating in a safe and sustainable manner. Develops documentation (e.g. standard operating procedures, job plans, and workflows) that supports the development of the CVPM. Leads the development of the Management of Change (Any health, safety, or environmental risk that arises because of facilities space, or operations being updated, added, or otherwise modified from their original design) for the FM and EH&S organizations. Collaborates with M&A's PM Coordinator to ensure the proper sequencing of performance testing of equipment PMs, SOMTs, LETs, and FHTs, that follow the Smart Labs schedule of activities process.
