Calibration Engineer who is passionate about solving challenges to join us. Partner closely with our brilliant functional R&D teams, you will work in a dynamic, cross-functional, collaborative work environment and work on calibration development and calibration system validation, maintenance, and improvement. You will also support new product introduction to high volume manufacturing processes for automotive and non-automotive customers.

What You Will Do:
- Supporting calibration development by executing sophisticated DOE, data collection and analysis, and calibration model validation
- Leading manufacturing calibration maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement
- Defining procedures and processes, and training of operators
- Partner with hardware and software teams to speedily resolve issues
- Preparation of technical reports, analysis, recommendations, and presentation on regular basis for project status update
Who You Are:
- A master’s degree/Ph.D in EE, ME, Optical, Physics or related disciplines with 5 years of working experience in testing, validation, and calibration.
- Strict discipline with good test practices: careful test design/setup/execution, rigorous problem analysis, and documentation of all results
- Attention to detail in calibration defining the right pass/fail criteria and ability to do involved data analysis on test results.
- Has strong problem-solving ability, able to provide technical leadership as needed.
- A good and reliable team player with strong communication skills. Self-motivated, continually striving for excellence, and can thrive under pressure.

Location:
- Cepton Headquarters – San Jose, CA
- Some local on-site visits to key customers.
- Travel to regional customer sites and to support trade shows & conferences if needed .
Cepton is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.
The pay range for this role is $95,000 to $100,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor. The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
