- Perform quarterly audits of every location that includes inspection of meal counts, menus, serving sizes, and sanitation.
- Correct non-compliance issues while coaching, teaching, and training staff on-site.
- Collect and inspect iPad/Manual data entry weekly.
- Tracks corrections for audit sampling and potential internal or external audits.
- Implements on-site training for repeat violations.
- Manages Program Director’s training schedule.
- Prepare monthly claims for reimbursement
- Audits CACFP applications for program compliance.
- Provides weekly updates and compiles kitchen inventories, production sheets, and classroom breakdown forms necessary for accurate food and supply ordering.
- Orders daily meals for all locations.
- Reports food program cost compilation on a monthly basis.
- Coordinate and prepare for annual state audits.
- Meets strict deadlines as outlined in the programs.
- Assists with month end financial reporting and audits.
Proficiencies of the CACFP Auditor.

Education/Experience for CACFP Auditor.
Associates or Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field, or two years of experience in CACFP, Food Service Management, Child Care, or Compliance. To perform this job successfully, an individual must have advanced attention to detail and customer service skills with proficient knowledge of MS Office.
