Position Summary
We are looking for a friendly, detail oriented, organized professional to serve as our Building Manager in a creative environment. It is important that our Building Manager is courteous, helpful and professional in all interactions. This position has a significant role in the operations of DaySpring. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to follow standard procedures.
Reports to: Operations Director Hours: Year-long position, 20-25 hours per week
Pay Range: $14.00-$16.00 per hour
● Maintain upkeep of the building.
- Simple electrical repairs with lighting fixtures, small plumbing repairs, hardware and mechanical fixtures.
- Paint, small drywall repairs
- Other small carpentry projects.
● Respond to maintenance calls.
- Leaking water, electrical problems, broken fixtures, etc.
● Working with the Operations Director to develop repair priorities.
- Research and price out items needed for specific projects.
- Create timeline, put together a plan of action
- Oversee grounds maintenance
● Pickup or arrange for delivery of supplies needed for building repairs.
● Contact and maintain all correspondence with outside vendors for all major repairs
● Develop and maintain an equipment and tools list for building
● Keep the building shop organized and clean
● Maintain all emergency and safety equipment
● Oversee Cleaning Crew
● Order cleaning supplies
● Work with events coordinator on space needs and coordination
● Set up and restore space for each event in building
