Flexible side-gig opportunity where you get to give people ice cream for free! Our small artisan brand of holistically healthy ice cream is looking for kind, friendly people for product samplings at small, natural grocery markets in the Kaka'ako, Kailua and Pearlridge area of Honolulu.

• Looking for someone who has up to 9 hours available each week for the gig, depending on the number of stores assigned or able to attend (there are up to 3).
• Candidates do not necessarily have to apply for all 3 locations.
• Because you’re representing our brand face-to-face with the public, video/zoom interview is required taking no more than 10-15 minutes. If chosen, we’ll do an orientation for which you will be paid the hours.
• You don’t have to do high-pressure sales or meet quotas. Your role is to be kind, product education and gentle encouragement to sample – and be attentive for the entire shift/event.

Looking for candidates in the Honolulu, Hawaii area

• Each demo 3 hours w/average 3 tasting demos/week. Tasting events are generally Mon 11AM or 5PM, Fri 11AM, Sat 11AM or Sun 11AM, 4PM
• You can choose the times that work best for you within these and in coordination with the store which we can arrange.
• You don't have to be applying for all three (3) locatinos -- Kaka'ako, Kailua and Pearlridge. You can let the interviewer know which you are interested in (or if for all)
• The hourly commitment is based on the number of stores, from 3hrs/week - 9hrs
• We will provide a ‘demo pack’ with a portable cooler, Cloud & Joy pin etc.

Responsibilities

• Network and build trusting relationships with potential customers
• Understand Cloud & Joy’s benefits
• Maintain a demo table and samples in good order
• Keep product in the store freezer arranged nicely throughout the event...
• At the end of event, ensure the product is displayed correctly
• Follow health and safety procedures for serving samples

Skills

• Being kind! And respectful and friendly
• Interest in ice cream, healthy living a big plus
• Previous brand ambassador experience a plus but not necessary
• Able to lift 10-25 lbs.

NOTE: This is not a remote work job it is an in-store demo position. Being in one of the areas specified is a non-negotiable requirement for this position.
