We are Performance Motors in Lynnwood WA. We have been in this locations for 30 years. We are seeking a bookkeeper/office manager to manage our finances. The position also has additional duties as an assistant manager and an automotive service advisor.
We have a customer base of over 2,500 people and a 4.9 star rating on Surecritic. We service mainly European brands like BMW/Mini, Mercedes Benz, Volkswagen/Audi, Jaguar/Land Rover and Volvo. We also service some Japanese vehicles like Honda/Acura, Toyota/Lexus and Subaru. We don't do tires or alignments and we are not open on the weekends.
We need an office manager/bookkeeper to manage the accounting side of the business as a main function. On the service advisor side of things, you will need to coordinate service requirements between the clients and the technicians, use service information sources to create maintenance/repair estimates, order/return parts, answer phones, schedule appointments and close the shop at the end of the day.
My name is Brian and I am the owner and a 20 year technician specializing in diagnostics. Besides myself, we currently have 3 fantastic technicians, all with 20+ years of experience and a driven, organized and efficient store manager/service advisor who desperately needs help in the office.
We would prefer a bookkeeper with 5+ years of experience and with some automotive knowledge but we would love to hear from others with good skills and experience as a full time bookkeeper.
We have a great group of guys and we treat everybody like a human being, not a # on a spreadsheet. We have great shop moral because everyone here is happy and keeping my employees happy is one of my highest priorities.
I know how important information and equipment/tooling is and I am willing to get what we need. That goes for office equipment too. Want a better chair or a new phone headset? I am willing to get you what you need to do your job more efficiently and comfortably because I only want to work with happy people
We pay hourly with a monthly production bonus. Wages are $28 to $42.50 an hour to start depending on experience. There is a 1% bonus each month based on gross sales before tax. We have a vacation hour accrual system from 1.5hrs/40hrs worked the first year and up to 2.5hrs/40hrs worked DOE. We have an additional weekly stipend to go towards your own insurance purchase or use it as extra income. We offer paid training as well. Our hours are Monday to Friday 7:30am to 6pm and the hours for this position are from 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday.
