Bookkeeper Job at Merrow
Merrow is searching for a motivated Bookkeeper to support the divisions of Merrow. As a Bookkeeper for Merrow, you will be responsible for ccounts payable and accounts receivable entries, application of payments, reconciliation of bank and credit cards, and assisting with payroll. This person will have previous bookkeeping experience, a knack for numbers and an interest in improving efficiencies.

The position is located at our headquarters in Fall River, MA.
DETAILED RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handles accounts receivable and accounts payable processes in accordance with policies and procedures
- Bank and Credit Card Reconciliations
- Performs record keeping transactions
- Receives, approves, and sometimes investigate invoices
- Assists with Payroll, journal entries and labor distributions
- Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION AND / OR EXPERIENCE:
- 1-2 years of bookkeeping experience
- Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Self-motivated, proactive and has a high sense of urgency
- Possess excellent organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- Develop strong positive working relationships within the organization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Curious and willing to learn, adaptable in a changing environment
- Proficient with Microsoft Office
LEVEL OF RESPONSIBILITY:
Interact regularly and follow up with internal and external parties based on direction of management, presents information for decision making to manager, and requires ability to independently manage their own daily tasks and projects as assigned by management.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position will not supervise employees.
