The Opportunity:

We are looking for those with childcare experience or anyone looking for a new, meaningful career to complete our blended online and in-person RBT Training Program, known as Ecademy. Our training program will take you from any background in childcare to your RBT credential within 3 months through a mixture of online training and in-person sessions – and our training is fully paid for at an hourly rate! Upon graduation, Elemy has numerous job opportunities with the condition that you are willing to travel to client homes across the Greater Tampa Area, and surrounding cities including Saint Petersburg, Clearwater, New Port Richey, Brandon, and Largo.

Two paid programs to choose from:

• Accelerated Program: Our accelerated training program offers the fastest path to becoming an RBT and starting your new career in mental healthcare. Trainees will meet all necessary requirements to sit for their RBT certification exam within 6 business days. The first 5 days will involve 40hrs of training (8hr per day), and on the 6th day trainees will complete their competency 1-2hr competency assessment.

  • December Accelerated Program Key Dates:

    • 12/3 (Sat) - 12/04 (Sun); 12/10 (Sat) - 12/11 (Sun): Virtual training & check-ins with trainers

    • 12/17 (Fri) - In-person practical training

    • 12/19 (Mon) - In-person competency assessment

  • January Accelerated Program Key Dates:
    • 1/7 (Sat) - 1/8 (Sun); 1/14 (Sat) - 1/15 (Sun): Virtual training & check-ins with trainers
    • 1/21 (Sat) - In-person practical training
    • 1/23 (Sun) - In-person competency assessment

• Extended Program: Our extended training program provides a self-paced approach to the virtual training component of the program. Trainees will meet all the necessary requirements to sit for their RBT certification exam over the course of 3.5 weeks.

What You’ll Do:

You will undergo our comprehensive hands-on training program to learn the foundations of autism, build your understanding of the core principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA), and prepare you to work directly with children in a 1:1 setting through clinically-designed role play sessions and active shadowing with our Care team.

At the end of the program, you will be qualified to:

• Understand the core principles of ABA

• Implement behavior plans to assist children with day-to-day activities

• Monitor behavior and record data on your patients’ progress

• Promote language development, skill acquisition, and prosocial behaviors for children with autism

• Obtain your RBT credential and join Elemy as an RBT

What You’ll Need:

• Minimum high-school degree or equivalent

• At least 6 months of childcare experience

• CPR certification

• US work authorization

• Must pass background check

• Access to a reliable car, proof of auto insurance, and valid driver's license

• Negative tuberculosis test results and proof of other health screening / immunizations

• Access to a desktop or laptop computer and internet for the full duration of the training

• Commitment to complete ~30 hours of online training within the first 2 weeks, mandatory attendance in 3 practical training sessions and an in-person competency assessment to become eligible to write your RBT exam.

Please note that the RBT exam cost will not be covered by Elemy.
