La Fonda is looking for an on-call banquet bartender to join our team. La Fonda has many pop-up banquet bars for various events such as weddings and private parties. This job is perfect for candidates seeking an opportunity to use their bartending skills to make extra money especially those free in the evenings. The ideal candidate has a strong knowledge of beer, wine, and cocktails, and a passion for going "above and beyond" for guests.
Our bartenders must be able to stay organized and calm in a fast-paced setting, possess in depth knowledge of wine, beer and spirits and remain engaging and genuine with our guests. Applicants must have previous food and beverage or hospitality experience, valid alcohol server and food server permits in the state of NM, and be able to pass a pre-employment screening. Applicants must also be able to stand and walk for an eight hour shift while carrying trays of food and/or beverage, lift at least 40 lbs, be a minimum of 21 years of age and be able to communicate in English with guests and coworkers (Spanish a plus).
