Full Time Teller
Handle all phases of teller operations, including collections, savings and demand deposits. Requires extensive knowledge of bank operations. Exercise independent judgement in most instances requiring minimum supervision.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of recent Teller experience required
- Must possess excellent customer service skills
- Present a professional image
- Knowledge of safe deposit admissions
- Communicate and cooperate with others (internal and external) to produce needed outcomes and meet goals
- Skillful at establishing priorities and channeling effort productively
- Demonstrate flexibility, versatility, commitment and good judgment
- Ability to be well organized in an environment of diverse responsibilities
- Operate a personal computer and appropriate software packages
- CSI knowledge is helpful
Job Responsibilities:
- Accept and receipt customer deposits
- Cash customer and non-customer checks
- Perform safe deposit admissions
- Handle bulk coin and currency deposits
- Issue cashier's checks
- Balance ATM
- Balance cash drawer
- Complete currency transaction forms
- Order and redeem Foreign Currency
- Handle currency orders and shipments
- Miscellaneous other teller/cash responsibilities
- Assist in answering incoming calls
- Provide Notary services
- Assist with customer request - (including but not limited to : Stop Payments, Address Changes, Statement Request, ATM & Debit Cards).
- Assist with Customer/New Accounts Paperwork
- Understand all Bank Products
- In addition, any request deemed necessary by the Vice President/Lobby Manger to assist with her department
This is a full-time position 8am to 5pm, with a 1-hour lunch
