SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Pinkbox Doughnuts is seeking a Bakery Manager for our St. George location! Pinkbox Doughnuts specializes in your classic favorites as well as custom creations made in-house, pleasing the pallet of any sweets-seeker! This is a full time role, at our St. George, UT location.

Our Bakery Manager will work alongside and manage our decorating and baking teams who create awesome doughnuts and doughnut art by using proprietary icing, filling, topping and decorating techniques and products, ensuring each item meets Pinkbox standards.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Assist with the management and production of Pinkbox bakery
• You must be creative in new methods, flavors, toppings, and designs.
• You will be responsible for training our teams.
• Ensure excellent guest service is provided by all team members
• Maintain product and store cleanliness quality standards
• Follow product recipes and decorating requirements.
• Perform all duties relating to pastry, doughnuts, and special-order decoration.
• Create appealing designs on all specialty bakery goods
• Inspect all products and remove misshapen/imperfect doughnuts and baked goods.
• Gain and maintain knowledge of products sold within the department and be able to respond to questions and make suggestions about products.
• Prepare custom and regularly needed orders
• Properly apply filling, icings, and toppings
• Follow portioning controls and par levels
• Understand and follow food allergy procedures and special orders/restrictions
• Maintain awareness of inventory
• Stock and rotate speed racks and display cases
• Customer service, problem-solving/resolution
• Train crew to decorate doughnuts
• Use of specific tools is required, using airbrush system, mixers.
• Comply with all safety and sanitation guidelines and procedures
• Performs additional tasks as requested by Management and as needed to successfully produce for our stores.

• 
  Qualifications:
• 3-5 years pastry decorating experience required, experience with doughnuts preferred
• Have 1 year of supervisory experience training and hiring employees
• 3-5 experience with piping, icing, application of edible images, cake/pastry design.
• Skilled in decorating custom orders with artistic quality, as specified by custom requests.
• Strong artistic ability and comes up with creative solutions.
• Ability to manage and execute complex product cuttings and preparation of products.
• Skilled in cake/pastry creation from scratch.
• Proven culinary operations background
• Proven expertise in include icing/piping techniques, sugar printers, color mixing.
• Travel to Las Vegas for training may be required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-orientated environment.
• Great attention to detail and imaginativeness
• Dedicated to working towards a team goal
• Highly adaptable in various situations
• Ability to be self-sufficient
• Food Safety Card required
• Legally able to work within State and Federal guidelines

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Continuous standing and walking throughout the duration of each shift.
• Bending, lifting, and carrying up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to multi-task and remain positive in busy working conditions.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Bakery Managers can expect to work an 8-hour shift on average, including weekends and holidays.
