BA; Financial Data Modeling Job at Synchrony Systems
Position: BA with Financial Data Modelling knowledge
location :: NYC
Location: RemoteExpertise and inclination towards Financial domain knowledge with strong data and business analysis skills and translate it to requirements 40-60% of the time will be spent working with Business and other Financial Team.
- Deal with different Business Lines like RE, PE or Fund of Fund
- Streamline Financial calculations across all 5-10 business lines (E.g. Private Equity, Private Credit, Real Estate etc).
- Hands-on working experience in building complex financial and valuation models preferably in area of Private Equity/Real Asset business covering PE Carry/Waterfall calculations.
- Hand-on working experience in building complex BI Dashboards and Reports using one of the modern toolset (Power BI, Tableau, Business Objects).
- Exposure, Knowledge or Experience with providing technological solution in the area of Fund Accounting and Fx Hedges.
- Well-rounded technologist with core experience in Database technologies, Analytics and financial modeling tools and technologies. Additional working experience with Python/R/Spark/OLAP is preferred.
- Candidate is expected to sit in a conference along with business team to understand the financial calculations that they want to build. Responsible for designing, implementing critical financial calculations in collaboration with key senior finance and operations stakeholders.
- Expected to build Power BI dashboard
- Effectively collaborate with project team to understand the requirements, analyze them and apply new technologies to implement optimal solutions
- Just not technical, but someone who understand the Business parameters and design it along with the business.
- Provide inputs to Business that are Intuitive in nature and help them build the model. Will involve Real time building of reports / financial models
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to analyze and understand data
Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to communicate clearly and concisely

Salary: $120,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
