Responsibilities:

Under the direction of the Director of IT, the incumbent is responsible in assisting local entertainers with audio setup before and after their scheduled live performances, maintain and operate audio/visual equipment throughout the property.


Essential Job Functions:

  • Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures.
  • Controls all volume levels and video content for the property, assists local entertainers with sound before and after their scheduled performance time
  • Troubleshoots malfunctions and/or audio & video shorts when necessary. Setup up special events with lights, projectors, setting up Peripherals for presentations, ensure proper microphone levels and proper output routing.
  • Maintains all plasma, LCD, and LED monitors on the property, ensure proper channel assignment for special games.
  • Install, troubleshoot and optimize IP AV devices including: Digital mixers with remote control via IPad, Digital Snake basic knowledge for signal routing, basic DSP understanding.
  • Liaise with, and provide support to, end users and staff on AV system operation and other technical AV issues.
  • Manage replacement spares through RMA programs to insure maximum hardware availability and minimum down time related to maintenance issues.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service by discreetly notifying appropriate management of concerns and observations.
  • Demonstrate actions and behaviors that reinforce the Company’s Mission and Values of Communication, Integrity, Fun, Respect, Accountability, Passion and Dedication.
  • Ensure prompt and discreet notification to management and/or the Ethics Hotline of any observation of illegal acts or internal ethics violations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area as directed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate’s Degree in a computer-related discipline is preferred.
  • Experience in computer hardware support and maintenance or AV systems support and maintenance required. Equivalent technical training and certification may be considered.
  • Experience with digital encoders, Direct TV, is a plus.
  • Preferred minimum of two (2) years’ experience working with and troubleshooting AV related equipment (projectors, sound, TV’s, lighting controls, exc.).
  • Experience installing, configuring and troubleshooting network AV devices.
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills along with strong time management and interpersonal skills required.
  • Must possess a positive demeanor and work well in a team environment.
  • Must be proactive and have a desire to grow professionally, as well as have the ability to take a task from start to finish with planning, research, documentation, and follow-up.
  • Must have strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Willingness to work in stressful situations in front of multiple demanding customers.
  • Neat appearance and professional conduct are required.

The Tribal Council gives preference in all of its employment practices to Native Americans.
