Home Theater & Audio Installer (Silverdale, WA)

A home theater & audio installer installs, configure, and troubleshoot consumer electronics. You are the face of our company. Great customer service and communication with the customer is required at all time.

Job Duties and Responsiblities:

· The Home Theater & Audio Installer will constantly work in setting up and installing consumer electronics including pulling cables, terminating connectors, cable testing, equipment troubleshooting, connecting equipment, programming control system, programming equipment, and configuration knowledge of AV equipment.

· Terminate connectors for different types of cable such as, Cat6, RCA connectors, F-connectors, and telephone.

· Rack/Media cabinet Installation, pulling cable, and equipment installation.

· Installation of racks/cabinets, TV, TV brackets, projectors, projector mounts, audio receivers, amplifiers, speakers, turntables, network equipment, and lighting control.

· Installation of mounts and hardware on all types of walls or ceilings.

· Using ladders and doing confined space work.

· Network equipment configuration knowledge.

Education, Certification, License, and Skill Requirements:

· Must possess at least a high school diploma or GED equivalency

· Education in electronics or a related field is preferred.

· Experience in audio visual equipment.

· Knowledge about cable types, connectors, and terminations.

· Experience in mounting TVs and speakers.

· Delivering heavy equipment to customer/job locations.

· Skilled in computer operations and programming universal remotes and control systems.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

· Must have the ability to sit, stand, stoop and bend for extended periods of time.

· Must be okay with working on top of ladders, in crawl spaces, and in attics.

· Must be self-motivated and professional.

· Must be a team worker.

· Must possess problem-solving skills, critical thinking and the ability to effectively communicate to customers and fellow employees.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour
