Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Powersport Mechanic to join our dynamic team. As a Powersport Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of powersport vehicles, including motorcycles, ATVs, snowmobiles, and personal watercraft. Your expertise in powersport mechanics and strong problem-solving abilities will play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Perform diagnostic tests to identify mechanical and electrical issues in powersport vehicles.
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks, to ensure optimal performance and longevity of the vehicles.
• Repair or replace defective parts using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
• Follow manufacturer specifications and guidelines for troubleshooting, repairing, and servicing powersport vehicles.
• Inspect and test powersport vehicles to assess performance and identify potential problems.
• Provide accurate cost estimates and timelines for repairs or maintenance services.
• Maintain detailed records of all services and repairs performed on each vehicle.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements and technologies in powersport mechanics.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of projects.
• Assist in the organization and cleanliness of the workshop and tools.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational or technical program in powersport mechanics is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Powersport Mechanic, with a strong knowledge of various powersport vehicles and their components.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and fuel system issues.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
• Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment used in powersport vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent manual dexterity and physical stamina to handle various tools and perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
• Good communication skills and ability to effectively explain complex technical concepts to customers.
• Professional and customer-oriented attitude.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Working Conditions: The Powersport Mechanic will primarily work in a workshop environment. The job may involve exposure to noise, vibrations, and potentially hazardous substances. Protective gear and safety protocols must be followed at all times. Occasional travel may be required to perform on-site repairs or assist customers.
