Earnhardt Chevrolet in Chandler, AZ is looking to hire an Automotive Diesel Technician!

Earnhardt Chevy is looking to hire a seasoned Technician for our busy service department and is now under new Service Management! Contact Nicholas Walag, Earnhardt Chevrolet Service Director, for more information regarding this position!

Applicants must be 18 years or older and must have current and valid domestic driver’s license (AZ preferred) with a clean driving record and have the ability to work in the United States without sponsorship.

NO Sundays or evening shifts required!

Responsibilities:

• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
• Perform work specified on the repair order with accuracy and in a timely manner
• Stay up to date on most current technology, requirements and processes regarding service repairs
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed and if so, the time needed to complete the additional repairs

The ideal candidate should have the following experience of qualifications:

• Vocational education
• Working as a Service Mechanic; with proven success on the job
• Minimum 1-3 years’ experience
• ASE certified is a plus
• Working for a new-car franchise automotive dealership (or group)
• Using DMS such as CDK
