Labcorp Drug Development has an Assistant Sample Coordinator position in Somerset, NJ . This position is FT first shift. 7-3:30 regulate hours plus some OT. This is an entry level position for the 4-6 months training.

We are looking for someone who can work independently in completing tasks assigned and has good customer service skills to work internally with other departments. You must be detailed -oriented in handling all lab samples. Lab experience preferred.

Job Purpose:

The Technician will perform all aspects of sample processing, storage and shipment in support of pre-clinical and clinical studies according to GLP.

This job contributes to organizational success by:

• Performs sample processing for all analytical laboratories as required.

• Prepare all assigned studies for processing.

• Ensure all data is reviewed and deviations are written in a timely manner.

• Record all metrics for study related work.

• Ensure data is reviewed and delivered to appropriate department prior to deadlines.

• Performs routine daily maintenance of all general use laboratory equipment.

• Ensure laboratory is properly maintained

• Participate in mandatory rotational coverage for late night, weekend and holiday hours.

• Fulfils any other duties within competence and experience as required or assigned.

Job Requirements:

• At least a high school diploma or equivalent

• At least 1 year of experience within a laboratory Preferred
