Assistant Project Manager Job at Border States Paving, Inc.
Border States Paving, Inc., a Fargo, ND based asphalt paving company is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to assist the Area Manager in the Jamestown, ND office. Analyzing blueprints, specifications, proposals and other documentation to prepare time, cost and labor estimates for asphalt project services in and around the Jamestown, ND area. Responsible for the overall progress of the project as well as the scheduling of work crew and the delivery of equipment and materials. Works with contractors, owners and representatives to complete the project within the given budget and time frame in a safe, productive and professional manner.
Education and/or Experience: HS diploma or equivalent GED required: 2-5 years’ experience or minimum 2 year degree in Civil or Construction Engineering or related field. Hands-on-heavy asphalt paving and base operations construction helpful. Heavy highway bid experience a plus. A valid driver’s license is necessary to drive company vehicles and equipment, CDL is a plus. Must have strong interpersonal, time management and communication skills with sufficient computer/software skills in MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, and Excel) preferred.
