Asset Coordinator

Full Time Asset Coordinator in Canaan CT, 06018!

Schedule:

Monday - Friday 8:00am-4:30pm, Possible Saturday's (2x/month)

Your Role:

  • Manage the Service Now software application that controls and monitors Asset Management. Input new FFE and IT assets into the system when they arrive.
  • Submit, order and complete purchase orders for FFE Assets in Sage intact as requested by the FFE Department.
  • Work with the FFE Department to process FFE requests and orders, receive the items, and set up delivery, assembly, and placement of the items.
  • Receive and log all incoming FFE Items associated with new locations and renovations, separate the items by location, ensure that they are stored safely, and prep them for shipment/placement. Tag all items and enter them into Service Now for tracking.
  • Maintain Service Now Software and regularly audit company assets located in the Storage Facility under the direction of the Supply Chain Manager.
  • Give regular updates on order and project status to the Supply Chain Manager.
  • Responsible for the organization and proper storage of all FFE Assets as well as the general cleanliness and presentation of the Warehouse. Ensuring all trash is removed and placed in the proper receptacle, floors are swept, and assets are properly stored and protected.
  • Ensure Mountainside standards are continually elevated at every opportunity.
  • Seek out opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining Mountainside's high standards.
  • Ensure all incoming shipments received from UPS, USPS, FedEx, and other carriers are logged IAW company standards and all items are distributed to the appropriate parties in a timely manner.
  • Accurately log and deliver all prescription and controlled medications to the Nursing Department following all procedures to maintain a proper chain of custody.
  • Assist the Shipping and Receiving Clerk and Supply Chain Manager as needed with responsibilities including, but not limited to, deliveries on and off site, One-Off purchases, and Inventory Management.

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
  • Associates and/or Bachelor's Degree is a plus
  • Two years' previous experience in asset management and/or inventory control - preferred
  • Must have strong personal organizational skills and must be able to keep multiple projects in motion simultaneously.
  • Must act with a high degree of precision and accuracy.
  • Must have a passion to perpetually improve our product and brand at every opportunity.
  • Must be in excellent physical condition (capable of heavy lifting up to 50 lbs. etc.)
  • Required to work weekends and holidays when requested
  • Current Valid drivers license - required.
  • Computer literacy and excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook
  • Able to learn and adapt to new software applications as needed

Compensation:

  • The base salary for the position is $19.00 to $22.00 per hour. Actual pay is determined based on a number of job-related factors including skills, education, training, credentials, experience, scope and complexity of role responsibilities, geographic location, performance, and working conditions.
