Assist in the assembly of basic folding walls, working to gain a further understanding of the Company's products and operations.

YOUR ROLE:

• Assemble custom folding glass walls, windows, and doors, in alignment with the production schedule
• Manufacture high quality panels in a safe manner, which meets or exceeds specific efficiency goals
• Visually check parts and/or glass for scratches, dings, and dents prior to assembly
• Proactively communicate when your jobs are ahead or behind schedule
• Provide feedback, as needed, to help the team standardize details and assembly drawings
• Follow all necessary procedures for glass handling, including proper operation of the overhead crane when needed
• Handle and lift all material carefully to minimize scratches to material surrounding job carts
• Notify the Lead team member/Supervisor of any issues encountered (missing subcomponents, damaged material, etc.)
• Provide suggestions for continuous improvement within the department

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience with carpentry, product assembly, construction, and/or related education (ex. trade school or technical courses) required
• Ability to safely lift up to 50lbs on a frequent basis is required
• Ability to complete basic mathematical calculations, including ability to read a tape measure, is required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Blueprint Reading experience
• Ideal candidates will have related product assembly experience
