What Do We Do Here?

Our Conroe Facility produces downhole products for drilling activities in North America. Our plant has high demand and is operating 24/7 to produce these products for our customers. To meet the demand for our products, we provide employees with a semi-air-conditioned environment, highly organized and clean 300,000 SQ. ft. fabrication facility, new CNC Machines (Mazak, Mori Sieke, DMG Mori, Weiler, etc.), and a strong safety program designed to ensure our team goes home safe to their families after every shift.

What’s the Job Like?

Work as part of a team having responsibility for assembling our product or components of our product. Perform all tasks conducted by the Team in the assembly process and rotate through all or most of them as needed, rather than being assigned to a specific task on a permanent basis. Must be mechanically incline , work with hands and have working knowledge of the use of basic hand tools and air/power tools . Read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams and assembly prints and schematics to ensure quality assembly .

  • Under direction, prioritize work based on production schedules and operational needs.
  • Review and perform work assignments and verify proper work procedures with leads or manager as needed to ensure quality assembly.
  • Read and interpret assembly blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, schematics or specifications manuals, and plan for the organized assembly of a product or components of a product.
  • Rotate through all the tasks required in the team assembly process.
  • Position or align components for assembly, manually or using hoists.
  • Set and verify parts’ clearances.
  • Maintain and lubricate parts or components.
  • Verify conformance of parts to stock lists or blueprints, using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, or micrometers.
  • Fasten or install piping, fixtures, or wiring and electrical components to form assemblies or subassemblies, using hand tools, and power tools such as rivet guns, or welding equipment.
  • Install finished assemblies or subassemblies.
  • Inspect completed assemblies and perform functional/continuity tests on completed assemblies to verify functioning, machine capabilities, or conformance to customer specifications.
  • Under direction, trouble shoot, rework, repair, or replace damaged parts or assemblies.
  • Maintain NOV guidelines on safety, quality, and delivery.
  • Clean work areas as necessary to maintain cleanliness, health, and safety standards.
  • Package finished products and prepare them for shipment.
  • Operate machinery and equipment, such as forklifts and Hand Trucks after proper training has been provided.
  • All other reasonable tasks assigned with the goal of helping the team, operations, or the facility overall.
