JOB SUMMARY:
The Bronx District Attorney's Office seeks a well-qualified staff whose diverse backgrounds contribute to serve the 1.4 million members of the Bronx County community and pursue a safer Bronx through fair justice. the Arraignment Unit is responsible for all arraignment matters and is in operation twenty four hours, seven days per week. Staff work nights, weekend, and holiday shifts. Under supervision, assigned to the Arraignments Unit, the Arraignments Clerk will perform time sensitive case preparation functions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handle and prepare all arraignment paperwork.
- Assist all ADAs in the courtroom with all arraignment matters.
- Communicate and interact with Central Clerk's Office on all arraignment matters and troubleshoot any problematic issues that may arise.
- Input and scan docket numbers into FTS.
- Ensure that docket numbers are correctly assigned to the proper arraignment matter.
- Scan and attach all Temporary Orders of Protections (TOPs) into FTS and mail copy to recipients of TOPs.
- Scan and attach all Discovery notices into FTS.
- Handle all TOPs that have been returned back to the office (due to address unknown) and follow-up to ensure that TOPs were sent to the proper address and ensure that such TOPs are properly uploaded into FTS.
- All other duties as assigned
- An Associate's degree preferred or a High School diploma/GED a law firm, governmental agency, civic or community organization a minimum of two (2) years working experience in and
- Familiarity with general court services and functions preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Excellent customer service skills and the ability to organize information in a concise manner
