Sameday Health is looking for a reliable, organized, and detail-oriented Area Manager to oversee and manage the daily operations of multiple Sameday Health clinics. You will plan, manage and coordinate all client care activities for multiple medical office locations. Our ideal candidate has the ability to implement and maintain organization policies and procedures pertaining to personnel, federal and state regulations, daily operations, and support of medical care.
What You’ll Do
- Travel to Sameday Health Clinics within their area regularly
- Prioritize the growth of their region and the expansion of healthcare services
- Regularly coordinate and lead meetings with providers and Clinic Managers to keep the team informed of Sameday Health goals and policy changes
- Actively engage in hiring, orienting, promoting, reviewing, and terminating staff according to organizational policies
- Maintain up-to-date staff files of required certifications and licenses. Foster staff engagement and productivity
- Identify areas of growth for clinics and clinic managers and provide regular constructive feedback and coaching
- Work with the Director of Clinic Operations and the People Team to facilitate development programs for management
- Monitor scheduling practices of Clinic Managers and staffing levels to ensure that the client needs and financial goals are met
- Maintain oversight over the region’s retail program: remain knowledgeable on all products, assist in training staff on sales techniques and product information
- Assist in creating monthly and quarterly sales goals for Clinic Managers
- Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental and regulatory policies and procedures for medical office operations, including quality and safety-related tasks, OSHA compliance, and internal measures
- Support and partner with corporate teams to educate and inform staff of compliance standards and ensure completion of all training
- Assist as needed with any investigations and resolutions as well as compliance, legal, and safety event investigations
- Develop a general understanding of Emergency Preparedness policies and emergency operations procedures
- Verify and maintain client records in accordance with local, state, and federal confidentiality and privacy laws
- Respond timely to client concerns and requests for information
- Oversee weekly payroll activities for assigned staff
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Healthcare Administration, Management, Business, or related field
- 5 years of progressive management experience in a healthcare, medical office, retail, or luxury hospitality setting, with experience managing multiple outlets strongly preferred
- Excellent listening/communication skills, outgoing and positive personality
- Punctual nature and ability to handle schedule flexibility and dynamic work environment
- Ability to multi-task at a high level in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in sales and customer service preferred
- Professional appearance and presentation at all times
- Ability to set and manage multiple priorities, as well as comprehend data for use in making daily operational decisions
- Proficiency with office equipment required
- Ability to travel to Clinics 50% of the time and to lift up to 35 pounds
