Working under the direction of the Manager or Senior Team Lead, will be responsible for contributing to the marketing and sales of MathWorks sophisticated engineering products used by customers in the Industrial Automation and Machinery industries; designing and developing sophisticated software product models and simulations to demonstrate MathWorks’ Technical Computing and Model-Based Design products in the Industrial Automation sector with a focus on Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment; developing technical engineering demonstrations of MathWorks’ Technical Computing and Model-Based Design products to support sales activities; building data analytics integration models and analytics systems to perform customer experience analysis and analyze usage data to support data-driven sales decisions; engaging prospective customers and demonstrating how MathWorks’ Technical Computing and Model-Based Design products can be used for Industrial Engineering and related Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment; and uncovering obstacles in the customer’s engineering process and collaborating with MathWorks’ sales, marketing and development teams, to build technical examples that demonstrate the value of using Technical Computing and Model-Based Design products in the customer's development cycle. Requires frequent travel and on short notice.

Minimum Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Master’s degree in Engineering or a closely related field (or foreign education equivalent) and one (1) year of experience in job offered or one (1) year of experience in design, development, or technical support of mathematical simulation technologies.
Special Requirements:
- Demonstrated expertise programming in MATLAB and Simulink; and real-time modeling and simulation of physical system and control system design using MATLAB and Simulink.
- Demonstrated expertise using Simulink for physical modeling, algorithm development and code generation, including digital twins and predictive maintenance.
- Demonstrated expertise collecting requirements and developing proof-of-concept and concept-to-prototype demonstrations for model-based design.
- Demonstrated expertise developing technical marketing or customer support demonstrations of Simulink- and MATLAB-based modeling systems; and creating product demonstration materials and program specifications.

Salary range: $137,000.00 to $154,400.00. Individual compensation is determined by candidate’s skills, experience, and qualifications.
