Job Summary:
Acquisition Professionals LLC is looking for a Technical Writer to support our client in Washington D.C. Supporting a front office, this Technical Writer/Administrative Assistant will provide administrative support to all staff, ensuring correspondence is properly prepared and error free, as well as provide adequate office support, phone coverage, handle operation of office equipment, and other tasks that are assigned, accordingly. The primary qualifications of this position will be to have great writing skills, in regards to taking direction to develop correspondence and being capable of editing robust reports. This will be done with the latest technology, involving SharePoint and the Microsoft Office, and will have an expectation of being nimble and agile in the approach to the professional development with the ability to work on multiple tasks, while prioritizing projects and being solutions oriented.

Responsibilities:
Duties and responsibilities may include, but not be limited to:
- Manage Sr. Management schedules, prioritize meeting & appointments.
- Prepare various correspondence with includes robust edits of reports
- Independently conduct reviews of outgoing correspondence to ensure it is properly formatted and prepared on official letterhead for proper distribution. Reviews shall be completed within 24 hours of assignment, or as otherwise instructed by the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR)
- Order and maintain supplies for staff, including copiers, shredders, facsimile machines, and other office equipment.
- Provide oversight/manage the file room, to retrieving files upon request.
- Greet visitors and escort or direct them to the appropriate individual being visited.
- Manage, reserve, schedule, and set up conference rooms for personnel.
- Assist in preparation of meetings (i.e. making copies, organizing briefing books, etc.)
- Arrange domestic/international travel and prepare travel vouchers in accordance with client's policies and regulations
- Multi-tasker
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of experience (Government preferred)
- Writing experience, including editing robust reports and/or developing correspondence
- Technical Writing, Technical training and certifications
- Full proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job, while prioritizing projects.
- Solutions oriented
- Work independently on complex tasks within established procedures associated with specific job functions
- Knowledgeable, with experience, using latest technology & electronic media, including MS Office software
- Excellent Communication skills, both written and oral
- Strong attention to detail
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
