We are looking for:

• The ADL Microelectronics Initiative - Global Leader is responsible for identifying and building game-changing opportunities in microelectronics and semiconductor packaging where Solvay materials can provide solutions and business growth.
• This forward thinking role will lead the Microelectronics Initiative Application team to build and maintain a strong pipeline of growth opportunities balancing the near term growth opportunities with long term development efforts.
• The successful candidate will work intimately & agilely will partner closely with Electronics marketing teams to create, develop and deliver new global market and product innovation strategies in microelectronics and semiconductor packaging.

We count on you for:

• Responsible for developing, managing and implementing the global technical strategy in microelectronics and semiconductor packaging, including segmentation and implementation milestones.
• Define application segments & Solvay’s value proposition.
• Develop relationships and partnerships with customer decision makers and technical staff; represent Solvay as both a marketing & technical specialist.
• Collaborate with the sales team to promote innovations & better understand market needs; train front line on value proposition & provide support to implement market plans.
• Align R&I development work with market trends, unmet needs and marketing goals.
• Identifty and manage the Microelectronics R&I program portfolio.

You will bring:

• 10+ years of experience in the microelectronics and semiconductor packaging industry with a deep intimate knowledge of both the business and technical aspects of the semiconductor packaging market, value chain, key players, application requirements and material solutions.
• A recognized leader with experience in developing new materials businesses related to microelectronics, semiconductor packaging & integration, semiconductor process fabrication
• Ideal candidate has both a strong technical and business background with experience in portfolio development & management.
• Prior experience in the use, processing of & application of polymer materials in semiconductor fabrication and package integration.
• A global, forward thinking, collaborative & innovative mindset
• Tendency to thrive in self-motivated, fluid and dynamic environments where balance between immediate and long-term needs is required.
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork skills and strong communications skills (oral and written)
• Creative, resourceful, hands-on, proactive, driven, results-oriented
• Aptitude for developing & growing strong technical and business relationships with customers - external partners & cross disciplinary teams.
• Impact & Influence capabilities with marketing, commercial and R&I team.
• Proficiency in business English

You will get:

• The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this new hire is: $140 000 to $180 000. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.

Additional information:

• Location: Global position; can be located anywhere as long as willing to travel (reference site Alpharetta US)
