You’ll be part of our Global Life Sciences team in one of our approved footprint locations in North America.
Our Global Life Sciences Practice is a strategic, innovative, mission-driven, highly competitive sector, with 2000+ total practitioners. We serve pharma, medical device and biotech companies, as well as other stakeholders across the healthcare value chain. We work with clients across all functional topics, including marketing & sales, operations, research & development, organizations, strategy & corporate finance, and core technology.
You’ll be a core member of the passionate, energized Global Life Sciences client activation and broader practice team, and will report into Director of Client Activation.
You will work with global leaders across the practice, most regularly with the global MedTech subsector leaders. You will also work closely with our global capabilities and service line/domain leads, client capabilities managers, and across functions (e.g., finance, PD, and reach and engagement teams).
What You'll Do
You will drive the agenda for MedTech subsectors on client and priority client themes, linked to our distinctive capabilities (e.g., offerings).
In this role, you will be a thought partner and work closely with MedTech subsector leaders to define and operationalize priorities to deliver client impact.
You will identify and radiate client opportunities priorities by understanding the client landscape, surfacing client needs, conducting competitive analysis, analyzing internal activity data, and understanding client feedback & wins/losses.
You’ll activate client development by driving white & grey space identification and leading priority campaigns and initiatives, in close collaboration with various practices, regions, and service lines.
You’ll bring the best of client development platforms and programs to every interaction, connecting experts, matching distinctive capabilities, and more.
You’ll be responsible for execution of the activation plan, working closely with Client development colleagues and partnering with other Functions to drive action and results.
You’ll ensure MedTech has strong processes and infrastructure in place for client activation, including enabling easy access to a portfolio of client development resources, enduring assets (e.g., codification, case references, qualifications), developed by client capabilities.
You’ll help bring together the global community of colleagues passionate about client activation in MedTech subsectors.
As our operating model evolves, scope of the role may also evolve and you will have the opportunity to co-shape the role.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership record in serving as a thought partner to senior leaders
- Undergraduate degree required, MBA or other graduate degree beneficial
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- A great team player
- A true self-starter with excellent project management skills and an appetite for creativity and innovation
- Strong integrity, maturity and fairness in dealing with people and confidential information
- Industry knowledge of the MedTech subsectors preferred
- Exceptional organizational skills; ability to work independently in a low structure environment, direct others and manage multiple people and projects simultaneously
- Proven strong analytical, problem-solving skills – working on complex, sensitive, time-critical issues, quickly getting up to speed on unfamiliar topics
