Description:
Acquisition techs are responsible for investigating, implement standard networks and maintain the IT infrastructure of acquisitions for World. This includes learning and understanding all applications, systems and networks that kept the existing company running. This role is to work with the Project Manager on major projects and installations of IT networking equipment. In any given day, the duties will involve work with new software that is undocumented and new environments that contain issues. This specialist will have to engage in high-level root cause analysis for any service interruption and implement preventive solutions.
For this career, you will need a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
Additional qualifications include system administrative experience, excellent technical skills, familiarity with common programming languages, familiarity with network architecture, familiarity of server-to-application structure, understanding of common applications installations. High analytical and problem solving skills is a must.
Essential Functions:
- Assist and cooperate new acquisitions on their technology needs
- Plans, directs, coordinates, controls and integrates all system tasks to effectively implement processes and procedures through all acquisitions and world offices
- Prepares and updates documentations or guides for programs and processes
- Monitor system alerts and health of the network
- Migrate data consisting of email and data
- Visit office locations for implementation of network and laptops of acquisitions
- Backup and support security actions or remediations and reviewing and updating security policies and procedures
- Assists and cooperates with developers internal and external on programming and website development
- Assists and cooperates with external IT companies to gather information to operate and support an acquisition
- Install and maintain the company core applications to perform changes and updates
- Mentor and assist level II techs with issues, problems and troubleshooting
- Coordinate and implement projects from the CIO to include infrastructure, system wide or local office changes
- Develop policies and procedures to increase and streamline IT department structure and productivity
- Support and maintain the Azure environment
- Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
- Perform other duties as assigned
