Account Receivable Collections Specialist Job at Tabula Rasa HealthCare Group
The Account Receivable Collections Specialist will perform a variety of duties to ensure the Company’s cash activity is accurate and up to date in the accounting system and will work with clients to ensure client receivable balances are kept current. Computerized software programs and applications (NetSuite, Excel, Salesforce, etc.) will be utilized to perform duties and responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Daily entry and reconciliation of cash deposit activity from all bank accounts into the NetSuite system.
- Apply payments to open receivables in NetSuite.
- Set up new customers in NetSuite and other systems.
- Maintain client listing and make updates to client information in NetSuite as needed.
- Work with the operations team to respond to and resolve client billing questions
- Monitor accounts to identify overdue receivables and follow up with customers regarding outstanding balances.
- Develop a methodology to improve collections to reduce overdue receivables and days sales outstanding.
- Work with clients to transition them to electronic payments.
- Assist with internal auditor and external auditor requests.
- Other projects as assigned.

EDUCATION:
- Required: H.S. degree or equivalent is required. Associates or bachelor’s degree, in a financial field is preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in collections preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally through written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite.
- Detail oriented and savvy with mathematical calculations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable to learn new and fully utilize new technology.
- High degree of ownership for projects, a sense of urgency and strong follow-through.
- Must be positive, friendly, and professional.
