Position Summary:
Seeking a bilingual Account Executive based out of Miramar, FL (Hybrid. 2-3 days onsite). This role is responsible for sales in a region of Latin America and requires travel as needed.
Responsible for meeting or exceeding sales and gross margin goals, generating new leads through research and outreach, expanding customer base, helping to determine pricing and supporting marketing programs and promotions for Land N' Sea - Latin America.
Responsible for building strong relationships with customers and adopting a consultative sales approach by being a subject matter expert on LNS products and services, understanding industry and market trends and customer operations to advise customers on products and solutions.
Responsible for cross-functional coordination and teamwork to ensure efficient sales processing, order delivery, product returns and credits, and other actions, with the objective of providing great customer service.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
• Meet or exceed sales and gross margin goals.
• Maintain up to date information on assigned dealer accounts.
• Develop and maintain multi-year country plans.
• Support customers to achieve maximum sales and market share in assigned territory.
• Monitor competitive activity, market trends and all relevant market information and communicate to Sr. Management.
• Identify non-performing accounts and develop and execute corrective actions to ensure continued growth and that goals are met.
• Up-sell and cross-sell, suggesting product substitutes where applicable.
• Execute sales and marketing programs and services.
• Handle customer complaints and exceptions requests with minimal management intervention.
• Maintain internal supportive working relationship with credit, technical service manager, customer service representative, sales coordinators, sales directors and marketing manager.
• Travel for sales calls to territory customers and attendance at regional boat shows as deemed appropriate by Manager.
• Other as deemed necessary by supervisor.
Knowledge, Skill and Ability Requirements:
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Exceptional sales abilities.
• Strong presentation skills.
• Good verbal and written skills for developing strong relationships with customers as well as good multi-cultural skills and sensitivities required.
• Ability to independently make accurate decisions and analyze risk, while reasoning through problems and suggesting workable solutions.
• Ability to get along with diverse personalities while remaining tactful, professional and flexible.
Education and Experience Requirements:
• College degree in business or related field.
• 2+ years experience in sales, preferably in the marine industry.
• Must be Spanish/English bilingual
