About You and this Role
You get excited about discovering the pain points of prospects and offering solutions to meet those needs. You’re a creative hunter, who has an uncanny ability to woo prospects into a conversation. Yet you also have the character to know when to let a prospect know your solution is not a good match. You get excited about generating promising leads for Account Executives and being part of a fast-growing software company.
Key Objectives
- Respond to inbound inquiries for existing named accounts within their assigned vertical
- Prospect and develop relationships within designated strategic accounts
- Perform thorough account research and stakeholder mapping to uncover key thought leaders and corporate initiatives
- Align with AEs on daily, weekly, monthly activities to support account penetration and growth including research and account plans
- Work closely and collaboratively with AEs to target key contacts at strategic accounts and build lasting relationships with prospects and existing customers
- Engage with Marketing to support account-based marketing initiatives
- Research and understand industry-specific pain points to help translate how Liferay can solve them, and then share those insights with their AE
- Measured on achieving or exceeding monthly individual and team goals based on KPIs and Revenue goals
- Assist in further nurturing leads handed over by the BDRs
- Act as a go-to-person for customers and prospects next to the AE
- Diligently log all activity in Salesforce/Salesloft
Preferred Qualifications
- Humble but relentless hunter
- Prior and demonstrable experience in Sales Development
- Full-cycle sales experience (preferred but not required)
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal
