- MN teaching license in appropriate field, OR a valid MN teaching license in another field and willing to obtain an Out of Field Permission.*

- Facilitate study groups for small groups of students
- excellent assessment, cae management, crisis intervention, interpersonal, conflict mediation and communication skills
- knowledge of PBIS and PBL is helpful
- Successful experience with improving student achievement
- Knowledge of technology based activities that assist and facilitate student progress

- Considerable knowledge of the curriculum areas the teacher is responsible for instructing.
Considerable knowledge of educational philosophy, teaching methods and approaches, current researched best practices and strategies. - Considerable knowledge of students' learning styles and needs, both academic and affective.
- Considerable knowledge of multicultural, gender and disability fair curriculum concepts.
Working knowledge of instructional technologies. - Considerable skill in classroom management and organization.
- Ability to effectively facilitate and/or participate in team meetings and parent meetings.

Job Summary: To inspire and prepare each and every scholar with the confidence, courage, and competence to achieve their dreams; contribute to community; and engage in a lifetime of learning.

Provide academic and/or social- emotional learning instruction and interventions in the curriculum area or program for which employed; design, deliver and assess curriculum according to district guideline; work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver instruction and interventions, when applicable; write and implement individual scholar goals and objectives as identified by data; monitor the fidelity of interventions, and collaborate with administrators to utilize data to identify scholars for intervention services; maintain contact and communication with guardians/caregivers of scholars, working with them in the development of their scholar; initiate and sustain collaboration within and across departments, programs, and sites to improve achievement; make appropriate use of instructional resources and technologies; support and implement the goals and objectives of the School Improvement Plan (SIP), district, program and department; provide in-person, synchronous and asynchronous learning when applicable. Willing to participate in district, building, and department leadership activities.
