- Maintain accurate records and processes all affiliation agreements for student rotations
- Processes, renews, maintains all adjunct faculty appointments for clinical rotations
- Monitors students compliance with TCOM immunization requirements
- Processes, completes, and maintains records of all attestation requests for student rotations
- Oversees students background check and drug screen process for third and fourth year students
- Processes, reviews, approves, and distributes supplemental documentation for students elective rotations
- Reviews new preceptor requests to determine if preceptors meet threshold of requirements
- Processes absence requests for third and fourth year students
- Updates and maintains site and preceptor data in eMedley student software system
- Runs reports for core and elective rotations
- Communicates effectively with students, faculty, and staff
- Attend all meetings and communicate changes
- Assist Executive Director of Clinical Education and Assistant Dean for Osteopathic Clinical Education with data processing
- Generate letters of good standing for third and fourth year students
Department contact for offsite preceptors in DFW and all remote sites. Keep track of vacations and find alternate locations for students assigned.
Compile, track, and submit all grades received via appropriate software systems (Canvas, eMedley, EIS, etc.)
Organize and coordinate with library services, electronic medical records, and other necessary departments to coordinate monthly core student orientation.
Contact Hospitals to notify of badging needs and orientation attendance
Make changes to rotation schedule due to overall changes issued by Clinical Education throughout the year as needed.
Maintain updated syllabus, evaluations, and program policy and procedures. Assure that the syllabus, course materials, and lectures are distributed to Clinical Education for posting.
