Production / Filler/ Stacker

2nd shift- $17.75/HR

• Shift Time: 3:00pm to 11:20pm
• Days: Monday-Friday with OT as needed.

General Job Duties:

• Place empty bag onto bagging unit filling station.
• Remove filled bag of finished product from the bagging unit (55.15lbs)
• Place bag on conveyor and put new bag on bagging unit.
• Remove filled bags from the conveyor and make adjustments by adding or removing product to reach exact weight of (55.15lbs)
• Remove excess air from the bag and tie off inner plastic bag.
• Crease and seal outer paper bag.
• Place bag on conveyor to be moved to a flat surface.
• Stack bags on pallet until number reaches specific customer request.
• Wrap pallet and move to staging area using pallet jack.

Additional Duties Include:

• Use of proper hair covering
• Following GMP’s, Food Safety and Food Defense program criteria.
• Ensure work station is clear of residue or contaminants from previous runs.
• Inspect empty pallets for damage, residue, and contamination.
• Labeling bags.
• Taking samples.
• Completing records
• Check for final container adulteration, tampering, and contamination.
• Maintain clean work area around workstation and clean up all spills immediately.

Requirements:

• Clear and Legible handwriting
• Math skills
• Comfortable lifting 55lbs repetitively
• Comfortable with fast paced environment
• Comfortable standing on your feet for long periods of time
