Full Time Summer 1 on 1 Technician for Autistic Children.
Full-time Summer (or year-round) position for technician providing 1 on 1 play-based therapy for autistic children. Come visit our center and meet our staff. You will love it here.
About the Job:
Success On The Spectrum is a learning center for children with Autism. We assign one "teacher" (known as a behavior technician) per child and they rotate clients every hour or so. We teach the children to talk, pretend play, feed themselves, make friends, etc.
We are looking for playful, high-energy staff that have a passion for helping kids learn while having fun! You will lead the kids in educational activities/games and make sure all safety rules are followed. Once a month, we take our kids on field trips!

Year-round staff members get a performance review every 6 months. Behavior Technicians have the opportunity to be promoted to Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, or Trainer. As a trainer, you will have first dibs to move up as an Office Manager at newly opening locations.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Work In Center Monday - Friday 7:45am-4:15pm.
- Lesson material creation and preparation.
- Implement Lesson Plans (created by the BCBA).
- Incorporate sensory activities into the lessons (Arts/Crafts/Activities/Games).
- Record client responses into the Central Reach program.
- General end-of-day cleaning duties.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma.
- No criminal background.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Able to lift at least 40 pounds, sit on the floor, and be physically active.
REPORTING HIERARCHY:
- Report to the CEO.

- Salary: $15-17/hr for noncertified techs or $18-$21/hr for certified behavior techs.
