Youth Coordinator Job at Blackstone Valley Prevention Coalition
The Youth Coordinator (YC) reports to the Executive Director and has the following responsibilities:
- Coordination and implementation of all prevention activities and initiatives associated with the middle and high school-aged Youth Committee program, including but not limited to: development of materials and conducting outreach and recruitment; youth needs assessment(s); leadership building activities; the design and implementation of youth initiatives; media and public relations initiatives; coordination of community service activities; and the evaluation and monitoring of all activities and initiatives.
- Collaboration and coordination with local agencies and organizations as necessary and appropriate.
- Cooperation with school faculty, including school liaisons and building principals to ensure smooth program logistics.
- Be available and accessible for daily communication with program staff, parents, youth, school staff and faculty.
- Timely completion of all required reports.
- Maintenance of grant and administrative data and files, ensuring they are up to date and properly secured.
- Assist in strategic planning and in conducting outreach, public relations, event management and marketing as deemed necessary and appropriate.
- Other duties as necessary and assigned.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
