About The Role - Yardperson / Laborer (Kaukauna, WI)
The Yardperson/Laborer provides bulk product delivery support to blast crews and assistance to crews for on bench operations.
Work Schedule
- Monday thru Friday
- Home every night
- Local driving (2-3 hours)
- Early morning starts approx. 4am
- 10-12 hour day / max 14 hours/day
What you will be doing
- Contribute to our safety culture by wearing assigned Personal Protective Equipment (“PPE”), keeping safety guards on equipment in place, using equipment safely, and looking out for the other members on your team
- Maintain a clean job site by picking up tools and equipment and securing job site each day in order to eliminate potential hazards
- Load and unload trucks
- Assist other team members when necessary
- Operate mobile equipment on site
- Assist with maintenance tasks including lubrication, maintenance, minor repairs
- Snow removal - (seasonal)
- Organize stock and products within the warehouse
- Maintain accurate records of products that have been stocked
- Verify all incoming shipments to be accurate by comparing the invoice to the order and ensure all products are in excellent condition
What you bring
- One or more years of experience in a construction position required
- Mining, Quarry & Construction experience a PLUS
- Knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials, and supplies used on construction jobs
- Previous experience in commercial construction jobs
- Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule
- Ability to work from elevated heights
- Electrical or mechanical background preferred

- Must be prompt and committed to doing great work
- Must have reliable transportation to the job site
- Must be self-motivated and can work well with others
- Must be able to lift, push, pull and move up to seventy (70) pounds.
- Ability to meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency
- Minimum age 21
- Must be able to pass a DRUG TEST and criminal background screening
- Clean driving record
Physical Requirements
- Work environment involves being outside in all types of weather
- Lifting up to 70 pounds and carrying 50 pounds or more of product or other materials
- Pushing/Pulling in working with equipment
- Other activities include frequent bending and squatting during preparation for shots
Your Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred
- One year related work experience preferred

Compensation
· Hourly Rate Range $18-20
(Salary to be determined by the applicant’s experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)
