Olin Winchester, LLC (“Winchester”) , considered one of the world’s leading ammunition manufacturers, is seeking a Maintenance Tech (Pipefitter) - Hourly . This position will be located at the East Alton, IL facility. The starting wage for a Maintenance Tech is $38.03/hour. Essential Functions*:

• Repair and replace pipes and hydraulic lines, make hydraulic hoses, and install new piping on various equipment, as needed.
• Use a variety of hand tools and powered tools.
• Operate heavy equipment such as a forklift, tractor, overhead crane, and backhoe.

Position Requirements*:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• A minimum of five-years heavy Pipefitter industrial/maintenance experience or a four-year apprenticeship certification related to the specified position.
• Must be willing to go through training programs for other trades such as millwright and welding.
• Experience within a related Maintenance Technician, Millwright, Welding, and/or Carpentry environment is preferred.
• Climbing ladders, entering confined spaces, and lifting up to 100 lbs.
• Current schedule is rotating three shifts. Must be able to work the rotating weekly shifts (midnights, afternoons, days) and forced overtime.
• This position requires successful vetting as an Employee Possessor in accordance with U.S. Department of Justice and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives.
• This position requires access to ITAR controlled technical data, and as such, employment will be contingent upon the candidate's ability to access ITAR controlled technical data pursuant to an export license approved by the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, if required.
