WELDERS are responsible for ensuring quality standards are being met while always upholding safety principles and guidelines. The welder will be cross trained in other areas and departments and may be asked to assist production when needed to meet customer needs and demands.

PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES of the Welder:

· Assembly parts to complete units and component parts in a specialized area

The ability to perform all the following processes:

• · Fixture Weld Inner Assemblies
• · Assembly of components
• · Insulation Wrapping
• · Auto-Welder Operations
• · Final welding product
• · End of Cell Checking Fixtures
• · Air testing

· Set up and operator assigned machines to produce finished product in a final assembly

· Utilize hand tools, power tools and other special equipment within department

· Cleanings and inspecting of all parts

· Complete proper paperwork per station

· Keep work area safe and clean (5S0 Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, Sustain)

· Assume responsibility for quality workmanship that meets and/or exceeds customer expectations.

· Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor/lead
