The Park District offers part-time employees the following benefits:

Availability: Applicants must be available Saturdays and Sundays with some availability during weekday evenings. We are seeking applicants to work an average of 12 hours/week. Amount of hours will vary depending on the season.

Description: We are seeking a motivated and responsible individual who will provide a high level of attention to detail and excellent customer service skills. Responsible for weekday evenings and weekend facility operations and for the safety of our staff and patrons. This position is responsible for opening/closing, supervising and securing the facility. Good judgment and pleasant demeanor must be exercised while dealing with a broad variety of assignments and patrons.

Job Requirements: Excellent customer service, communication skills and be able to supervise themselves is a must. Requires the ability to work in a team environment, maintain self-control and composure in difficult situations, the ability to work independently in day-to-day operation and to work a fluctuating schedule.

Qualifications: Must be 18 years or older. High school diploma or equivalent. Must be CPR/AED and First Aid certified or the ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire through the district. 1-2 years experience preferred.
