Water Jet Operator Job at Express Employment Professionals Downey
We are looking for a WATER JET OPERTOR for our client in the city of Downey.
PAY: $20.00 - $25.00 DOE
SHIFT: 7AM - 3:30PM (Mon through Fri)
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Temp to Permanent hire
Responsibilities:
- Operate waterjet according to job specs
- Check water jet gauges during every process run, i.e., pressure, abrasive levels
- Interpret/understand blueprints, templates, sample parts or specs
- Cut or prepare material for waterjet operation
- Check dimensions / tolerances
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years experience of water jet operating REQUIRED
- Familiarity with OMAX and Flow machines required
- Forklift, overhead crane
- Strong math skills, good communication
- Experience with measuring tools - calipers, micrometer, tape measure
