The Big Picture
Warren Center Baptist Church (wcbaptistchurch.com) is a small but faithful church seeking a Lead Pastor to shepherd the flock through preaching, leading and pastoral care.
The Candidate
We are seeking a new Lead Pastor to uphold the traditional values of our church and serve our community. Our new Lead Pastor will strive to achieve the following goals:
Ö To make his walk with the Lord a priority
Ö To love h is wife and family
Ö To pursue regular training and education
Ö To serve the Lord by serving his community
Ö To visit families of the Church within first year of ministry to get to know each
The Qualifications
He will meet the qualifications for overseer as stated in 1 Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9, and 1 Peter 5:1-4.
Ö Prepare sermons, lessons as appropriate
Ö Conduct regular worship services
Ö Oversee various ministries of the Church
Ö Oversee boards and committees of the Church
Ö Provide Biblical direction in people’s lives
Ö Visit families of Church members and community members as needed
Ö Assist families in crisis
Ö Perform weddings and funerals as needed
Ö Provide vision for the direction of the Church
Ö Preside over regular business meetings (quarterly and special meetings as needed)
Ö Pray for the people of the Church
Ö Lead by example
Ö Encourage evangelism locally and globally via mission outreach
