Summary

The Warranty Coordinator is responsible for the scheduling, coordination, and supervision of warranty claims for all Tommy’s Colorado. The Warranty Coordinator position requires clear, and consistent communication with vendors, suppliers, and the Tommy’s Colorado Service team.


Essential duties and responsibilities

  • Schedule, coordinate, and supervise warranty orders with technicians, from customer drop off to customer pick up
  • Actively communicate with clients, team members, and vendors in a professional manner about warranty issues
  • Keep detailed, accurate records on submitted warranties and parts returned.
  • Ensure warranty claims have been submitted within 48 hours of completed work.
  • Diagnose a wide variety of issues based upon experience, analysis, and testing
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment
  • Be a problem solver willing to tackle anything
  • Be able to work independently and efficiently
  • Have a valid driver’s license and pass a prescreen drug test
  • Maintain a positive attitude and be a productive member of our team
  • Exhibit humility and a willingness to learn
  • Provide our customers with a positive service experience & assure customer satisfaction
  • Work with Sales Department and Pro Shop Managers to drive more sales from the Service and Parts Departments
  • Other tasks as requested by manager

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

Accounting and Analysis: Able to understand inventory, costs and sales.

Communication: Able to interact professionally with colleagues, clients, and company personnel, able to clearly and effectively communicate information both orally and in writing. Able to communicate both orally and in writing with customers, many of whom are high net-worth individuals.

Mechanical: Able to understand the mechanical and electrical systems on watercrafts and communicate issues to employees and customers.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Computer Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office required
  • Education/Experience: High school diploma required. 2-3 years of warranty claim experience required. Minimum of 1 year of service, sales, or watersports experience required.
